picked up interest in vsa from here and have a quick question or 2 - is the interpretation/analysis manual (by eye), or can it be "coded" eg the way candle patterns can be and if so how - am also looking on the web for info, but thought it worthwhile to ask here as well.
The other question is what is the nominal time frame it "looks ahead" by - couple of days, or week or so ?
I have seem some ami broker references for it but have not yet found a concrete "coded" example (eg amibroker setup).
I guess the thing is if you can "code it up" you can put it in a scanner, and/or make it a bit more mechanical.
