It appears to be a cheaper gold but ask any central banker whether they'd prefer silver to gold.

There is no 'new gold' just gold. Certain people are making a monza out of junior investor silver exuberance. Silver, like all precious metals, will follow the value of the gold price.

The silver market is the pros game also played by amateurs.
