I have to say, I am a little surprised at your change of sentiment Londoner as well as a few other long-term ORD supporters. I am not a technical analyst, nor do I really believe in it - it certainly has its place but its not a price determinant. Its a good tool to use for entry and exit but you cant escape the fact that price and price behaviour does not drive future value and/or company performance. This is why, for me at least, current prices are of little concern.

Its interesting to observe how sentiments can change in any given week. There was talk on a couple of points which need addressing:
    1. CR
    2. Macro-impacts

Firstly the CR. I can tell you now, ORD has been very busy. I have not been able to get in touch with them for the last month. Having said this, in Apri, I spoke to them about funding options for the drilling campaign, as well as general corporate activity for the remainder of the year. In April, there was no indication that a capital raising was required so unless something has drastically changed its not going to happen. I dont know why we seek to speculate on stuff when its just not feasible. It happens on this stock forum time and time again.. the company has a multitude of funding options that will come ahead of a CR, even IF cash is needed. Management are well aware of the need to preserve shareholder equity. It is their preference to maintain this and not dilute the current base. Under previous management, the company raised cash and burnt through it under questionable circumstances. Hence it is not current management's preference to raise capital and repeat the credibility issues that surfaced years ago. The Chinese have their reputations on the line and they need to prove-up their business acumen by executing on their plans. At the very least they need to prove to us (Ozzies) that they can do it as there is a lot of talk about foreign companies coming in and taking over our companies. One of ORD's objective is to prove-up credibility and build confidence: they are working to build local shareholder value.

Assuming you dont want to listen to me and are wondering where funding money is going to come from, I refer you to the statements made public. Operating expenditure will come from JV monies and/or the lines of credit from our major shareholder. These are set-in-stone agreements. The money is there. End of story. If you want to go one step further and question the JV monies, its subject to approval - of which it is coming. If approval does not come soon then there is an option to delay drilling or anything else that may eat up cash. Alternatively we can tap the line of credit until the JV monies come in.

On the macro issues; seriously I have no idea how opinions can change so rapidly and without justification. Yes there are US problems, Italy, Greece and the larger Euro-region. Having said this, the reason the Chinese are interested in ORD is because China need ORD resources..not Europe, not US. China, as has always been the case, is booming. Growth is still very strong and all the economic factors that support ORD-resource demand are still in place. Unfortunately the stock price is being caught up in general negative sentiment, which in fact is a great contrarian opportunity.

Just a word of caution - just because there is no news from the company, does not indicate they are not working very hard on all the activities previously announced. I am concerned that people, especially new investors are expecting weekly announcements. This is not going to happen. There are tasks which need attention and therefore time, and for a relatively small team is a huge undertaking. You have to expect this and expect delays at times. This is a normal occurance for a mining company, espcially around documentation like DFS, BFS, project negotiations etc.

At the end of this month I am looking for an update from ORD on:
    1. Laos project (JORC+, new tenement acquisitions, feasibility statements)
    2. SJ (drilling commencement and/or plan/update)
    3. JV approval (plan on use of 10Mill exploration monies).
