You'll have to take the second hand knowledge with a grain of salt.
For the depths they are looking for, there are a limited number of people that can do that in Mongolia - and the ones that can are heavily contested with by the flurry of exploration activity there. Boris and co had tee'd up to do the drilling with Major Drilling - but had a massive wait time. They found someone cheaper (and who wasnt booked up)who said they were able to drill at the depths and could not (I think referring to the shallow drills for potash in 2010) and effectively found themselves back in the line - giving a July/August estimation from Major Drilling. I have tried looking for a schedule or something that would detail when they will be starting in the Uvs Basin, but had no luck .
Did they regain costs or sue for misleading information? No idea.
As for the database, I did mention and asked specifically about it - it is available to anyone and talks for XX is so open ended it is hard to put a time frame on that.
I know potash is the goods, but the Mn results may prove to be just as important, especially as there is likely to be 2-3 months between now and any potash results, minimum.
