Had TNR been told earlier, I'm sure they would have looked at it. They have a concrete project that'll eventually turn into solid production.
The only reason they'd like the options converted is because it will allow them to accelerate their plans. The world won't end if they don't, it'll all just end up taking a bit longer to materialise.
And that's the biggest shame in all this; had the heads ran a bit quicker, then TNROB would have injected cash into Torian so that the initial braking-effect on TNR would have been (relatively) quickly overcome in favour of a more rapid share appreciation beyond that.
We'll all have to be a little more patient now I guess ;)
