It appears as though you have either not read or not understood David Brock's book; 'Blinded By The Right: The Conscience of an Ex Conservative'.

IMO there are excesses at every point in the political spectrum & charlatans therein - from the rabid right to the loony left & including the malicious middle.

IMO Julia Gillard's failings are increasingly transparent but Tony Abbott's masquerade as a saviour remains to be debunked as the charlatan he appears to be to those of us with a critical eye & who expect a whole lot more from someone in a key leadership role.
