I cant believe some of the posts I am reading on here.

Every single one of you have known for well over a year that CCC would need to raise funds to progress their projects.

If you didnt, then you should NOT be in the share market .

The GM is just ratifying what we all ready know.

If people dont want to be in a growth stock they should stick to mature companies.

Forro ,your posts sound like a broken record with the continued calls for no more shares to be issued in almost every post you write. We chose this company for the growth potential and no company can do that without finance.

CCC did do a major debt financing ,and this was very welcome ,and it did not dilute .

The Socius deal did not dilute either ,as they recieved a bigger slice of Mashala in return .

Dilution only happens when shares are issued for things like working capital purposes ,not when they are buying out a larger slice of a company like Mashala .

In fact ,CCC got Mashala that cheap ,that the deal was probably more like the opposite of dilution ,in other words "concentration".

People need to understand that issuing shares is NOT the same as dilution .

If you acquire an asset that is worth as much or more than they paid for it ,it is value additive ,or "concentrating" value per share .

The Socius money is going to the purchase of Mashala ,and is not diluting the current fundamantal asset base of CCC one iota.

Champ ,maybe there will be more aquisitions such as a couple of million dollars for the Kenya block ,
or some other minor land aquisition to increase reserves next to one of their mines ,but they were referring to the Mashala aquisition in this case .

Lets be honest ,people are unhappy because the share price has not done what they expected ,me included .

I have seen this lots of times before ,but this is one of the worst cases of share price not reflecting the true value .

Most of you are looking in the wrong place to apportion blame for that.

Management have done an admirable job overall ,but not perfect .

Continentals first efforts at raising capital over 12 months ago set the scene for disaster that I am sure they did not envisage .Their choice of benefactors of those shares was a big mistake .Just goes to show that cornerstone investors need to be carefully chosen ,and not just to get the money and worry about the consequences later. It can have long term ramifications for the company, its loyal shareholder base ,and its reputation .Lets hope lesson learned Conti.

Put bluntly ,we got bad apples ,and the rot is very difficult to cut out. Many of those shares were oportunistically flogged off unmercifully , without regard for the damage they were causing to the company.

The low lifes have entrenched themselves like parasites in nominee accounts , just like a virus .

Looks like some of them have kept enough to further torment CCC and its decent share holders .

The manipulation during normal trade and in the closing auctions is a disgrace for how blatant it is .

If you people really want to make a difference ,dob the mongrels in to ASIC .

Low acts such as placing large buy orders ,and then withdrawing them at the last second are dishonest and if they are put under scrutiny by the authorities it will stop.

Stacking the buy and sell side is also dishonest ,but ASIC could investigate who sits behind these mysterious nominee accounts and warn them.

Help yourselves out ,and help CCC out and stop the parasites that are damaging your investments .

Get ASIC to monitor CCC .

CCC will break free from these low lifes sooner or later as they progress their assets but it is clear their influence on CCC is not a small one .They obviously control a significant amount of shares .

Management do appear to be working very hard for shareholders ,maybe some of us can help ourselves ,and stop the blatant ,and illegal games.

It may also be worthwhile contacting the directors of CCC ,asking them to get ASIC to monitor the trading .This may carry more weight .

At the very least it cant hurt ,but could possibly help.

I wonder if my post will draw out any squealers,LOL .They almost certainly read Hotcopper.
