If you take thr trouble to log on to the site of yesterday's debate, as in Ben Bradley's very kindly posted link - you will hear Lord Monckton tell you exactly why the climate is NOT warming at a fast rate. It is NOT!!!
Gillard is trying to turn science - and facts - on their head - to suit her own political, and ideological purposes. and we, and our kiid and grandkids, will be the dummies who'll be paying to suit her, for the next umpteen decades.
(It took Russia 70 years of opression, prepression,and murder and mayhem, to finaqlly wake up that Communisim was no good!)
This is one of the main thrusts of Monckton's debate - people either will NOT LISTEN, refuse to listen, or even if so, they are so glued up with party political rhetoric/dogma they stubbornly and ungraciously allow any opinion other than those which fit in with their own pre-conceived, unbudgeable, conclusions.
Personally, I see Gillard as an evil influence on the freedoms of Australia. I do not accept her as MY Prime Minister. What pride do I have in her - none!
She lied about Carbon Tax, and will now shove the outcome of that lie down all our throats - whether we like it or not! She sees nothing wrong with not having a mandate - and therein lies the danger!
(If boot was on the other foot - she'd never stop her screaming "outrage".)
