Well they played games with the SP all morning ... then, whammo! Strong buyers in the early arvo.
This should slowly make its way back to the 50 cents mark, along the way it will attract trader interest, and especially interest from Hedge funds & Special situation funds that specialize in investing in announced takeover targets.
Safe money to be made here IMO, with a floor now in place.
