Thanks for your much appreciated views from a fellow long term holder,and yes you rightly have questioned the "shedloads of gold we are sat on" which I confess was meant to come across as my own personal gut feeling as to the amount FML will eventually find but alas having re-read my post,I can see that I have not conveyed that at all clearly.As far as the Coolgardie being some of the "best gold producing fields across the globe" I sit comfortably with that assertion.I agree the terrain is notoriously difficult to mine and will therefore incur higher costs than other areas,but Coolgardie has been yielding gold in quantity for years,and the "company graveyard for some" which you rightly refer to,was in most cases due to the price of gold to cost of mining it ratio at the time,not the lack of gold therein.This was why I made the point that based on the assumption gold will increase in price significantly in the coming months, the costs involved will not be nearly as important.This assumption is a very bold one obviously and is mine to be held up for ridicule if it turns out to be wrong,but hey,I have been saying this for some time now based on what I consider to be pretty strong financial and political indicators,and it takes a strong character to say what at the time was the unthinkable.It would seem just lately though that a few more who know far more than me are beginning to utter similar murmurings.All in all it's going to be a very interesting ride one way or the other and I wouldn't want to miss it.
