I attended the meeting and I spoke briefly with Paul McPherson.

It seems that Hot Copper may have more coverage than at least I realised. Its not just punters reading our posts.

Paul is concerned that HC misinformation may have a deleterious effect on MDV. In particular he is concerned about baseless assertions posted by Mungit. Mungit's rubbish actually finds an audience in Sri Lanka.

I have had Mungit on IGNORE to good effect however that obviously does not prevent him from prolifically posting rubbish.

I do not propose to address Mungit directly as I will not engage in a mindless debate with him. I feel obliged to take him off IGNORE for the time being as I think he deserves to be jumped on and (as far as possible) held accountable.

In the meantime MDV is quietly going about its business.
