You'd think so- cash cow either way- takeover with near a 50% premium if it goes through, or capital return if it doesn't. And the capital return would be... ??? Anyone?
TLS and all of those involved have a good deal riding on this takeover, so do the advisors, etc. I'm sure they'd have anticipated potential competition issues prior to the making of the offer.
The value mobs will probably get in soon- Orbis, etc. This is going to be very interesing. $28.7m bought and sold so far today. Even on its own without takeover, AUN should be worth more than $1.05.
