Yes Heraclitus, you have a good long term memory, I no longer hold the stock....

As you will see from my posts I like to hold stocks (ie, long termers) which have potential to have World Class resource in a highly in demand commodity and are very early on in their genesis...

I was a big advocate of TPL, Yes, when it had vast upside in the Canning Basin... The moment they decided to refocus elsewhere ie Qld, Mongolia it sent alarm bells ringing...

So I entered cheaply on expectation of a large Canning Basin green fields Coal/CSG discovery and exited promptly when they discarded that option.

I have sat on the sidelines waiting for them to tell us about their Mongolian investigations and will not enter unless I see something compelling ie Like TVN and CEO recently.

I have seen nothing compelling yet...

For compelling ..It would need to be the following:-
    1. Vast potential with some evidence of existence ie some drills
    2. High Grade /Open pit'able
    3. Near market, ie Chinese border and near rail
    4. Have a large % ownership or 100% Owned
    5. Acceptable Sovereign Risk

So I wait and watch ... Although I like to speculate its a bit of a stretch investing in a company TPL that has not secured anything in Mongolia yet. The QLD tenement is not enough to get me exited ...yet.

Unless this recent spike is on the strength of leaked news I suspect the rally is running on thin air ... watch out below!

    Time will tell..

All is IMHO DYOR to confirm.
