And, if the ENTIRE GLOBE were warming, surely winters would become milder and summers a little hotter.

And yet we are witnessing the usual cycles here that many of us have witnessed for years. One side of the world is getting more heat while the other is inflicted with more cold. This is a quite common for extreme weather temperatures on opposite parts of the globe. Sometimes we get heatwaves in summer while the UK has blizzards. It's all perfectly normal.

And the fact of the unusual cold here does not help the AGW cause, imo. Clearly the globe is NOT gradually warming all over.
