Auto As I understnad the carbon tax it is levied on tonnes of CO2 emitted. I cannot understand why WPL/Gorgon and others don't take a lead from MEO and convert (some of) the CO2 rich gas to Methanol which can be used for all sorts of things including making petrol - which i believe is exempt the OZ carbon tax. The process essentially recycles the Carbon. CO2 is good stuff to some...

I didn't know that the CO2 content had been disclosed?
