    I think you are trying to make this a political thing instead of recognising the severe mental health issue. No one in their right mind could perform such an act simply for politics - and especially to children? Whatever his background, I can't see that it has nothing to do with his mental disorder, what ever that is. This is an extreme situation and I would think there will be bipartisan condemning of such a terrible crime.

    And, I don't believe it is Alan Jones who is inciting anger in our political arena, but perhaps, you are looking for an excuse. Gillard is doing much of this herself by not being entirely honest with her constituents, i mo.

    I have usually found your posts to be fairly reasoned, but this one has surprised me. It seems that the government is using the seemingly pathetic excuse of the UK media issues to try and restrict freedom of speech out here, and it is also just as pathetic to use this terrible and horrific situation of one man's mentally disturbed brain to somehow implicate all those who are right leaning with the same brush.
