Hmmm, so many possibilities.
A revolver versus an assault rifle lol? The effective range for a numpty civilian firing a revolver would be something like 10-20 metres vs the effective range for a numpty civilian firing an m16 like weapon somewhere between 100-300 metres.
I think letting people walk around with weapons has its merits.... for road rage, car park rage, etc...
