    agreed
agression can arise from many causes
there is no fundamental reason why someone that considers themselves to be an atheist, should be more agressive than someone that considers themslves to be a theist, soley on that basis.

yes, have viewed a reasonable amount of material on the transmission and evolutuion of belief systems.
however, just because, no group can lay claim to any of them, does not mean that there is something more relevant behind the mythological.

there really is no need to read scriptures to be convinced of miracles
there really is no need to research personal accounts to be convinced of the real enoughness of heavens and hells.

why throw out the baby with the bath water?
for example, if one contemplates the mythology of the story of the garden of eden some insight may arise.

"They never bother me, unlike christians who are fundamentally dishonest because their beliefs are simply lies!"
    wow!
you are lumping all beliefs into the same box, and then throwing it out in the garbage
have another read through, for example, ecclesiastes and 1 corinthians 13 and tell me it is all lies.

someone that considers themselves to be an atheist asserts that there is no god whatsoever, and many assert that there is nothing except for materialistic science decrees.
spend some time carefully examining if these beliefs/doctrines/propaganda are rooted in ingnorance or not
since people that believe lies bother you, shouldn't you be bothered by this as well.

this is like given two choices
    democrat opr republican
they seen different but they have more in common than they dont

why buy into divisivness and propigation of duality?
there is a book on the the shelf next to me called Unitive Thinking, there is some useful stuff in it.

generally speaking, a problem with christianity, per se, is the perverted emphasis on jesus as saviour god at the expense of neglecting experential investigation, of what he and other associated writings recommend.
