Why hadnt Sumitomo taken legal action against us previously?
Answer...they were hoping they wouldnt have to because they know they'll lose.Instead theyve tried every dirty trick in the book, buying off the local media being the obvious one. It just highlights that our license was obtained legally and was never in doubt despite what the press would try to have us believe. In saying that their smear campaign has significantly distressed our SP which should be well into the teens at least, if not for this mis information.
Sumitomo have realised,and well played by AVQ management that they cant scare us off or get us involved in a slangimg match. Now allelse has failed they are attempting to sue the LEGAL LANDOWNERS, THE GOVERNMENT AND AVQ!!!!.
in a last desperate attempt to save face.
This is similar to RIO or BHP attempting to over throw the Mabo or Wik decision...absolute lunacy and will only tarnish their name even more.
Bring on the 18th of August, if its not withdrawn or thrown out before then.
For me, that Sumitomo is going to these lengths, especially after losing a similar case before, tells me that come this time next year, we'll all be very wealthy.
All My opinion of course, but at this stage being backed up by the fact there havent been any significant dumps.
Hopefully we hold onto the mid 4's and push up in the next week or 2 as further info about all our projects comes to hand.
