It's really very simple;

society as we know it today can continue slowly down the present path hoping that "someone else" fixes the obvious economic and ecological problems that exist.

Most probably people would choose one of the following two alternatives if they took the time to consider the seriousness of this predicament;

a) nothing will be done and the status quo will continue forever - IMPOSSIBLE (FACT)

b) something WILL be done by someone else before it's too late - IT WILL NOT (in my view)

Environmental Consultant Rob Watson has this to say;

"You know if you jump off the top floor of an eighty-storey building, you can actually feel like you're flying for seventy-nine stories. It's the sudden stop at the end that gets you."

So you can see that if we don't wake up to what so many can already see around them in their everyday environment, we are going to face the same sudden stop at the end!

It's not going to be a gradual slide to the end collape, it's going to be a sudden economic impact.
