whatever happens, if Gillard has said on the public record we will be surplus by x date, and that statement occurs before the election then she should be held to account.
If we are not in surplus then we should go to town on the person who made the statement.
Also we should all be aware that money has been taken from investors via the mining tax, death duties and the carbon tax
those investors who paid those taxes and in fact all of Australia should know exactly what happened to that money.
