Sorry guys a bit off topic ...Surges to your knowledge who is leading the way in the early detection of Parkinsons utilizing biomarkers? i am curious as ADO have licensed a marker which they claim can possibly detect disease progression 5-10 years before onset of symptoms.. this has gone all quiet since 2008 on this front for ADO so i am curious if anything could have been happening behind the scenes.. the reason i ask is that it has been mentioned lately (i think in an ann or update) that ADO is working on "test" that has a high false negative and false positive results .. see below figure of 30% for parkinsons...

From ADO website relating to Parkinsons "Unfortunately the disease is difficult to distinguish from other related disorders and approximately 30% of initial diagnoses generate false positive or false negative results"

Could be way off the mark but its been bugging me for a while..
