    Awesome1,

    Here is what I remember.

    The SI official action started in November 2007 when AVQ announced it is negotiating with the BML to acquire a ownership position.

    On April 30th 2008 AVQ quarterly mentions the law suit. "progress continues to be made to resolve third party legal hurdles so that the application by the traditional landowners for prospecting licences of San Jorge and Santa Isabel Island laterite nickel properties can be processed."

    The final decision was December 2008. The problem with this timeline is there were many delays. As an example there were times when the presiding judge was sick, so the court re-scheduled the date (in order to keep the same judge) and delayed the hearing by two or three months.

    This case may take on a different pace because;

    1. AVQ has expensive assets on the ground that are not being used because of this injunction (the other case was just the right to get the license)

    2. landownership has already been sorted out by the high court

    3. the landowners have a constitutional right to decide who will work on the land and they have already chosen AVQ via the trustees

    4. as the AVQ recent quarterly report says " . . . [AVQ] is strongly of the view that there is no case to answer".

    As Awesome1 said--Judge: "the land owners have the final say and gave the rights to Axiom KB. Of course the Japanese govt is behind you, they own a large portion of your company...so what's your point? Class dismissed"
