    Misty,
We agree large organisations have difficulty keeping secrets. This applies in Australia, USA and similar cultures where there is little lifelong commitment to anything.

However I think other cultures manage it.

The British are pretty good at it. They have WW2 secrets still locked away till 2050. I think the Russians and Japanese are still keeping WW2 secrets too.

I expect the Israelis and catholic church could keep a secret.

However many conspiracy theories are dubious for two reasons. a)lack of motive and b) improbability of permanent maintenance of secrecy in a large organisation.

However I do believe there is a loosely bound movement which prefers central control and administration above individual liberty. Those involved come from both the left and right of the political divide. Indeed that traditional divide is becoming as irrelevant as whether your first car was a Ford or Holden.

Lib V Lab is as genuine as Spy v Spy in old Mad comics. It is a bit of tittytainment which like sport and pornography just distracts us from considering real issues.
