My guess is that it was the big end of town playing silly buggers - again.
Morgan Stanley's last "Notice of Change in Significant Holdings" from a week or two ago showed that they have been trading large chunks of LYC in and out for ages. No doubt that some of the volatility from day to day would be MS driving the price, making it go whichever way suits their trade.
Today, apparently, was a good day for them to sell, and presumably buy back in the next day or two.
