Firstly l will start by saying Gassy ..gotta love you're enthusiasm...keep it up fella...:)
Secondly in relation to the TH, this was by way part of the obligation PIE have with / to Telstra. I agree not ideal for what was released .... but at this point why would PIE management want upset the waters this early into potentially a massive deal, and they ultimately followed procedures thus layed out by the ASX. I hope this clarifies the TH for those following.
Thirdly ...for dtphelan.....without coming across as arrogant or implying you to be ignorant......
Understand that Telstra is a MASSIVE company and has many, many business with in it. Now as l understand it the webphone will reach across many business within Telstra itself thus meaning that there are alot of people who first have to see the product, understand the product and then see how the product is going to be suited to each of their businesses. Now to have have all these people on the same page and all working in the right direction for Telstra will take some time effort and work.
Now for PIE Management to even think about putting a time frame on this would have be irresponsible...why.....well because when the allocated time had come and gone and there was no news ...then the response is not going to be favorable. I too was dissapointed at first with the lack of news.... but after thinking about it .. l .. realised that there is no possible way they could know how long this process is going to take.
I will finish by saying that for PIE and the Management team to have gotten this far with Australia's largest telco is a MAMMOTH effort and really need to be given alot of credit.
In my view its all about patience.......
