Rabbitoh, those quotes from the koran sound disturbing, however, there are apparantly over 60 different sects of Islam and each one translates the koran in a different way. Its just like how there are many different groups of Christians and Jews, they don't all believe and follow their religion in one way, they all have their separate beliefs and ideologies. Furthermore, if you actually do some research and analyse what the cause of this terrorism is, rather than just listen to media reports, you will realise that its not really a religion which is behind this, but rather a 'cause', such as the israeli/palestinian conflict and the iraqi sanctions, I think they just want the 'west' to leave them alone! This does not mean that they want islam to take over the world! I mean seriously, think about it, how often does some muslim sheikh come knocking on your door enticing you to convert to islam?? I've never had a muslim preaching stuff to me before, but I've had plenty of Jehovahs witness's... You need to look at the cause of the problem otherwise its just going to get worse.
