I'd say it's got caught up in the wake of the BND fallout, where the market has pretty much extracted the takeover premium from the share price, based on a number of bidders / potential bidders pulling out.
Seems all a bit silly as far as MTE is concerned, as there was no takeover premium built into its share price in the first place.
