    it doesn't change my opinion of a transition away from fossil fuels being a welcome change, but it introduces yet another level of intricacy into the debate.

    kind of gets boring talking about odourless plant food and carbon tax all day

    I agree we should be looking for alternatives to fossil fuel and I'm sure in time to come we will.

    Remember the old saying, "neccessity is the mother of invention!"

    However I don't swallow this AGW thing and I don't belive that a carbon tax is needed to "save the planet."

    A carbon tax is only a politician's invention to get their hand in our pocket!
