re: rakia..to meerkat hey rakia, I don't doubt your motives, I think you post honestly - unlike certain others.

As for 'research', I never trust it from any source when we are talking exploration, I'm not saying it doesn't have any value, just that I simply never take notice of it. All I ever knew was that there was this very small speculative oil stock, which was supposed to have good prospects, that its sp was around 2c, and I jumped on and watched its price move north. My real mistake was not buying more at lower levels but the cash wasn't there.

I have actually grabbed a few more at 4.4c, which pushes my av up now to about 3.5c - so on any spike I'll sell back into it.

I remain sceptical whether NEO will ever make it to production with the current series of drillings. I do believe they've found good indications of gas but it's a long way from there to commercial success. I hope they make it of course, but their chances are slim at this point I'd say - and I don't need any detailed research to tell me that because it's just a probabilistic thing. Success in oil/gas is not the norm for small exploration companies.

What I think will happen is that the current round of exploration will reveal further lines of exploration, the area they are in appears to be relatively rich in hydrocarbons so that eventually they may succeed in some small way. The chances of finding something significant first time out is very small indeed.

I wish it were otherwise but feel that it ain't. I've stated very clearly that I know absolutely nothing about oil/gas exploration so I'm not posing as any sort of expert - I'm just a punter.
