my understanding is...
UT is mainly involved with property, and as such he is the ultimate manager...controller in charge...
he is the ceo of his property business, unless and to what extent he employs property agents to manage his portfolios,
however he does not factor in a capital gain ....?????


TCboss is similar...however he also relinquishes control of part of his business to the stockmarket...and each CEO of that stock

I run a property investment business, employing agents to manage rental properties....both residential and commercial

I treat some of those properties similar to a stock market trade/business....
ie just like the stockmarket....I expect a good annual return.....
but I also expect a *great capital growth* on each property (unlike UT)
I have the most control over my investments...around 90%...

my investments in property dont go up and down at the whim of some people on the other side of the world, who decide on a hiccup or a whim...or what the US or Japan or any other countries leaders , or moron decides...

I have a life, it is not dependent on what US investors thought overnight, or any other manager out there, or CEO decides....that will impact on my income, or profits

I choose whether I buy, sell or just earn income....
I am the only person that I have to report to...is it good for me, will it earn income and be a 10 or 100 bagger for me...
have just done a deal, its a 900% capital gain, it was a rainy day affair.....otherwise I would not have done it...
it was a Plan B....
cause sometimes shit happens....
in my world, when planning budgets and scenarios, one needs to allow for the shit to happen... hence
the plan A, B and C
I LOST A STACK OF MONEY in the 2000 tech wreck....
when I inadvertently relinquished control over management to some mongrel Ceo's of several stock market company's...a combination of blue chips and emerging companies
never again

** but I have made a motza on all of my many property investments....
there are no losses in my property investments under my control....
I have a very basic and proven formulae ...for my budget..
I earn a minimum of 5% annual income, plus a minimum 10% capital gain,,,anything above that is a bonus
I also have a forumlae for the bonuses....with property development schemes, renovations and improvements...all value added schemes....
no pie in the sky...ifs and buts schemes
just basic due diligence, proven research and occassionally, some hard discussions with the various other local and govt bodies involved
at the end of the day, I am in total control of my life
I sleep easy....
the total catastrophe in the stockmarket today, this week or this month....has no affect on my life

when the rest of the world wakes up to the manipulation...they too may be free
