middle lane drivers, page-46

If ever there is a difficult mix, it has to be the emotion of drivers and speed.

The average driver is really to some degree likely to be emotionally stressed either before they drive or while they drive due to road conditions and other drivers.

Some are in a hurry, some plain angry, some sad and hurting, some want to enforce their will on everyone else, some are unhealthy, most can have mood swings etc etc.

They are insulated from others by a ton of metal and the ability to ignore others and enforce their will regardless.

    It's a wonder there aren't more collisions.

The solution is simple. Show a bit of respect for others.

Be patient. Don't loose the plot.

Generally I move along with the traffic flow but if someone comes up behind me and I am in the middle lane, I move over and let them pass no matter how fast they are going.

Generally, with courtesy and patience you can travel quickly to your destination safely. Be a good example. Maybe others follow a good example.

In any event, it doesn't matter, just drive safely and arrive safely.

    Cheers,
