That was a great time to buy.
The market had screamed up in the 80's, peaking about 89 to collapse and move sideways through most of the 90's.
The property investors here are exactly the same as the ones that proliferated in the US as their much smaller bubble expanded. Every man/woman and their dog was a property speculator/investor or/and a real estate agent.
Everyone else, to them, was a no hoper they might allow to rent one of their properties.
I wonder how most of those wave riders ended up?
Back down to earth wondering what the hell happened?
