me tinks you are making the right decision if the Us$ was not underthreat, as it would be seen as saf haven and yes GOLD will collapse as there is no drive for it. but look at the amount of gold being bought internationally. korea, brazil, china.

print more paper and convince people to buy your debt, when the biggest holder is using his as quietly as possible to buy gold on the dips.
