If I were a fin planner I would suggest every portfolio contain exposure to NCM plus the gold etf - perhaps the CBA also with the balance cash/bonds depending upon the clients risk profile. If willing to accept a higher level of risk then perhaps consider a solid mid tier like PRU or MML for takeover upside.
Yet I would be very interested to know how many fin planners would be recommending gold and or gold related investments - ie NCM. Certainly the proof is in the pudding with the 10 year chart of NCM v the XAO ......
