I just received a letter from a solicitor group in Sydney offering to represent shereholders of ion in a class action. As the legal fraternaty in not beyond ripping people off i'm wondering if this is not a con to take more money from me. They wish to charge $550 (i'm not sure if it comes with a free set of steak knifes), but it does seem strange. Has anyone received the same and is it legitimate? How do class actions of this sort get up and running?
