While i`m not a holder of Beach, this sort of thing happens too often. You are correct in saying that the gold assets allready belonged to the shareholders, so why do they have to pay for them again. As for the directors giving themselves shares in the spin-off company, well that tells me all i need to know about them and i for one will be staying well away from BPT.
