The retail investor should protect themselves.

No use blaming our loses on these large institutions and algorithmic trading.

No use blaming our loses on short selling either.

The fundamentals are flawed and terrible. We should know better and do our due diligence better.

We should not be investing our money into corporations and investments that are not structurally sound.

Banks right now are a big risk due to the fact that people do not know what they are exposed to and the fact that there is no transparency.

Off balance sheet liabilities. That is one area where they should be more transparent so that we can understand what we are putting our money into.

This is what needs an overhaul not shorting or algorithmic trading.
