G'day all and fitnfam I really enjoyed many of your insights here today.

I was thinking of writing a post called "what's not to like" and it applies equally to CRE and FML holders or the merged entity.

CRE holders were pretty unlucky before this merger and were sitting on a far higher risk situation waiting for a re-rating. However, even if they are down at this time on the merger price the fact is that FML did not enjoy this latest gold stock rally (up on changed sentiment) due to the merger activity. I doubt that CRE would have on its own either as many lesser players have been left out. IMHO it is all worth the wait for FML holders just sit back and stick to your guns this is an improvement even if it offset our return forward in time.

Now the CRE holders are set to be part of a cashed up dynamic team that can exploit the opportunities in the combined entity. In other words their risk reward ratio has been enhanced dramatically with the merger. I assume this will go ahead somehow this is early stages in the process as yet.

FML holders will win either way, win or lose on this merger but I believe Don Taig has the knowledge via extensive experience... that is to say i would not cross him it is far smarter for Stone to find a way to work with him and FML to maximise their profit potential here. I certainly hope this will be the view adopted in the near future but we have to wait and see.

The new gold camp at TI (St Ives look alike) is not factored into the share price because it is too early however it represents massive upside for shareholders. Do not underestimate this one it can lead to a re-rating on its own as it evolves, to be accelerated now as the understanding is rising like any steep learning curve.

The new activity at The Mount will soon start to yield exciting results and vindicate Chuck for his ability, insight and negotiating savvy. World class project, company maker... terms come to mind so this is another exciting area to develop that may also represent huge upside. Risk is that mother nature has fooled him however science does not support that outcome.

Coolgardie is difficult ground however the price dynamics of gold have changed the game completely - do your own homework. The new exploration manager (awesome) will work with Chuck who has worked this ground for 30 years and accumulated it for this very event. Brilliant; I wait for upside surprises here as well. There is a lot of high grade ore to find and yet it is difficult compared to a RRL type deposit because it is 'bitsy' (technical term I picked up) in comparison.

However DYOR again and look at the bigger picture the ore pods are not that small and they are close to the mill. Read what fitnfam has to say about the pits etc and add in upside from the obvious chance of over performance of these too. I have seen the grades over the years and waited patiently for this to gain momentum.

What is not to like? Great post Fitnfam. Thanks to HC for allowing my return, the respect is reciprocated they put on a very good show here the work must be massive.

If the CRE merger comes off I will share some insights with you all.

Take care all and best regards,
    CW
