The objection won't be a problem, there is nothing in the area that has any significance, unlike CZA issues in the Vele project.
Just a couple of farmers who dont have coal under their farms but want a piece of the cash action.
The average value of land there is around ZAR 8k per hectare, the ones with coal on are going for well over ZAR 20k per hectare. so if you are out of the prime area you lose out big time.
As to Esskom burn tests, RES have never announced having to do or done these tests, which are , I believe, essential to all potential suppliers to Eskom. In fct I beleive that Sekoko have done two lots, one last year and one this year.
