    evening all,

"One poster actually wrote the other day that he was thrilled that he took the deal at 7.6c and continued to be happy. Surely the TRUTH would be "I wish I had not taken them up on it, (like many others) and bought at market for a lower price (say 5.8c!)"."

Well, that was me that posted on the placement - and I wouldn't mind you doing me the courtesy of quoting accurately if you insist on quoting thanks.

The truth - and thanks but I know what I feel and not what you think I should feel is that I am happy to have participated in the placement and have no regrets.

Some of us don't have to scrabble around at the bottom worrying about if we are up a few thousand or a couple of hundred thousand this week or next - we have lives to live.

So to that end during this last silly goings on I have had a few lunches with friends and walked in some of our best weather in one of our finest national parks and have not bought or sold one share, although I did keep an eye on matters - why?

because I am happy with my investments - sure they move around - that is the nature of wealth and markets.

It is no coincidence that when one places a call to a company that you own shares in the first thing that happens if they don't know you already - is they look up who you are and what the share movement is --------- if you are a solid holder and have not been out and in like a paint brush, you get a much better ear.

There are some of us out here who buy companies and NOT shares, you continually seem to have difficulty with this.
Owing companies and being a long term holder is a very different ball game to a short term trader who hops in and out of a stock willy nilly.
I would have thought this was a pretty simple difference that most of us could understand. There is room for all, but it should be understood that there are a lot more wealthy investors around than traders and also although failed investors are not unknown, failed traders are as common as duck doo - I know full well, I have been on both sides of the fence.

    have a great night all

    Pinto
