I won't even bother with the likes of Shane Oliver although should as he is the best contrarian play around.
I have yet to see any local economist ever call a market top in this country. They persist with their "all is rosey" calls till the damage is done.
Maybe they get it right this time but their record is woeful.
Anyone basing their fortune on economists will end with a smaller fortune.
