A more serious argument against cogeneration is that space heating is more efficiently done using a heat pump than by burning gas. But with CFCL's technology the electrical efficiency and possibilities of distributed generation may be enough to justify deployment just for electricity (ie Bluegen units), with use of the heat waste (in the integrated units being deployed by EWE and EON) as a nice extra.
