My 67 year old friend who is a pensioner, worked hard her whole life and raised three children by herself and put them through school has been on the government waiting list for housing for five years, she walks down to the government offices and sees these boat people sitting there, six children in tow, cant speak a word of English getting housed straight away because they have kids !! Never contributed to society, never paid tax,have no intention of working and know this is the best place in the world to get a free ride. I listened to the ABC and there was a refugee that had been housed in a house that wasn't good enough so she was complaining she wanted a new one. Well if I knew where she bloody well lived I would have gone there and taken her to the streets where Australians live in their cars and in cardboard boxes because they aren't refugees, they dont get government housing and an allowance !! Look after the people in your own country first, the ones that work and keep the government in a job before you open the door to freeloaders. Cut government salaries to pay for these boat people, everyone has to pay so should they ! What is wrong with this country THE GOVERNMENT, that is what is wrong, Julia Gillard and her green government !!
