    There is always the chance the jv is delayed until after the September 2nd entitlement closes. Then only those brave enough to take up the offer plus oversubscriotions can benefit from any jump in sp after shares and options are traded on the 17th.
    IK is a strategist. The jv would be timed to his liking IMO.
