The CR may indeed be to secure voting power, regardless the new investors still need a motivation to actually invest.

Not much point gaining control of a shell going nowhere, clearly there is a vision being sold which has captured interest. I invested based on the UCG potential, if the value proposition is different to this it would be great to hear it.

The other point to consider is one of approval, in that raisings above 15% of capital requires shareholder blessing. You would have to assume 'material' suggests over 15%, so they would need current shareholder approval anyway.

Ever the optimist I'm hoping for a silver lining, goes without saying though that the past 4 months has not inspired confidence.
