That statement is inaccurate and misleading in the extreme. As pointed out by Hoots and as you were already clearly aware before making that post the average price for the buyback in less than $3.20 per share, a far cry from the $3.49 you allude to in your calculation.

Given that you must know this in order to have selectively picked the top price paid for any parcel of share purchased since the buyback began you will also know that the 8% margin that you declared CDU to be making is in reality greater than 16% and possibly higher. This is more than double what you have indicated.
