Yes cptkid you're right so far - operational performance has been disappointing after promising so much - will this situation change? - we live in hope but it's obviously not going to be tomorrow as it would appear that we're only mining 4% copper ore at the moment which means we'll be lucky to break-even in this current qtr(Apr-Jun).Next qtr we should be mining 5.5% copper ore that should earn us $US1mil/month.
In the Oct-Dec qtr we'll be back mining 7% copper ore that'll earn us $US2mil/month at Dikulushi and the Kulumaziba tailings project will also be operating in this qtr earning us $US1mil/month - so we continue to wait for profits to kick in - it's a very frustrating wait but the believers have faith that BT is building something that's sustainable.
Now we wait for the quarterly report this week that well might contain more bad news than good - I'll be looking for their bank balance at the end of March keeping in mind that they had to pay Gecamines $US2mil on 14April for Mutoshi and RMB another $US1.65mil at the end of June during a period in which they're not earning any money.I'll also want confirmation that the striking truck drivers from their haulage contractor have gone back to work so that cashflow from sale of copper is happening.Hopefully we'll get lots of positive news from drilling results in the quarterly.
