Thanks for that, mike, but I still reckon we're being diddled, and without a condom.

Ok, so we are linked to the Tapis....
But, and you will have seen this, when you get a "cold snap " in Wisconsin and the demand for heating oil rises, that rise has been reflected in our bowsers within hours.
Oil price falls...Tapis price stays up. Why? We in Oz cop all rises instantly.....yet dont get drops...
Seeing we must be still at least 70% self-sufficient in oil production, why is this?
Sure, we export that 70% & then import 100% of our needs....crazy.
Remember being told many years ago at a Kalgoorlie marshalling yard that 2 trains there, one going east, the other going west, were both carrying potatoes.....Perth potatoes going to Sydney, Sydney potatoes going to Perth.
Now, that struck me as really intelligent.....and obviously it impressed someone else, because thats what we are doing, in the main, with our oil.
Labour (Kevin 007) made his intention to drop fuel prices part of his election platform......never happened...we are still being screwed.
And with the Carbon Tax, its going to be worse...

    GZ
