So PEAK has found a lot of rare earths. What is the supply and demand of the rare eaths they have found.
According to their latest report....the major rare earth element is CeO2 (small 2) at 48.4%
What use is this element? apart from polishing glass?
Catalyst; Glass production; Polishing powder; Ceramics; Crystals; Phosphors
The second most common rare earth found was La2O3 , 27.1%(small 2, & 3) which is Lanthanum(III) oxide is La2O3, a chemical compound containing the rare earth element lanthanum and oxygen. It is used to develop ferroelectric materials, and in optical materials. Production is on laboratory scale, mostly.
So with these 2 elements making up 48.4 and 27.1 % respectively, constitute 75.5% of what they have discovered.
My question to you investors is are these rare earths special? and if so why?
PS I hope we dont see the 38 bottom again. Good luck today.
